Which websites does this legal notice cover?

These provider details apply to the following services operated by Jona Fynn Schlegelmilch, including their associated subpages:

The relevant privacy sections below explain which functions process personal data. Third-party websites that we merely link to have their own provider details.

Our own contributions and those of employees, freelancers and project partners are identified in the project descriptions. Rights to images, trademarks and project materials remain with their respective holders.

Privacy: scope and controller

This information applies to jonaschlegelmilch.de, including its preview, project and topic-specific pages and Medien – gemeinsam digital at jonaschlegelmilch.de/medien/, jano3dstudio.de, including variants and project pages, tools.jano3dstudio.de, including product pages and browser prototypes, and the new website thegravitycomplex.com with its Playtest, Socials, Shop and Press Kit areas. The controller is Jona Fynn Schlegelmilch; the address and contact details are provided in the legal notice.

The modules below describe the respective functions. Linked third-party websites and installed desktop applications must be assessed separately. Historical versions of the Studio and Playtest pages hosted by third parties are not part of the new server-side site statistics described here; other services may have been active there.

This information also applies to 81fragments.com (81 Fragments, a service provided by Jona Fynn Schlegelmilch). The site loads its own media and provides external product links and an email link. Language and appearance apply only to the current page; 81fragments.com uses the minimal server-side site statistics described below.

This information also applies to boundlesspixelcraft.com, the Boundless Pixel Craft information platform with its AI and media-use areas, and to the industry newsfeed under jano3dstudio.de/newsfeed/. The corresponding modules below describe the specific functions and data flows.

The personal project portfolio Bochum – Meine Stadt. Meine Projekte. at jonaschlegelmilch.de/Bochum/, including its project subpages, is also part of this service. Images, fonts, 3D models, the 3D library and the schematic city we created are provided on this server. The 3D display runs in your browser. The sections on hosting and minimal site and click statistics apply. The Bochum pages contain no forms and do not store settings in your browser. On the City page, you can retrieve public station data using “Load bike-sharing data”. Your browser contacts only our server. The server retrieves the data from Mobidrom / mobilitaetsdaten.nrw (Donkey Republic Metropolrad Ruhr); your browser IP address, location and other visitor information are not forwarded to the mobility provider. Your device location is not requested. Public station data is cached for 60 seconds and replaced on the next successful retrieval; the technical service credentials are temporarily stored outside the public web directory. The purpose is to display available rental bikes; Article 6(1)(f) GDPR applies to the associated provision of the service and server logging. No mobility data is retrieved without your action. You can also use “Load central station departures” to retrieve train departures and available delay reports for Bochum Hauptbahnhof. Here too, your browser connects only to our server. The server loads fixed public GTFS.de timetable and real-time sources (download.gtfs.de and realtime.gtfs.de), without forwarding your IP address, location or other visitor information. The processed public departure data is reused for 60 seconds, and the public timetable extract for a maximum of 24 hours, and replaced on the next successful retrieval. There is no automatic reloading or sign-in. The cache is stored outside the public web directory. The purpose and legal basis for providing the data correspond to those of the mobility data described above. External place and project services and additional webcam services open as links. Live public transport positions and video streams are not embedded. The still image from the Haus des Wissens webcam appears on a surface in the 3D City after you select “Load webcam image”. Your browser connects only to our server. The server retrieves the fixed public image from www.bochum.de without forwarding your IP address, location, cookies or other visitor information to the City of Bochum. The image is reused for 120 seconds outside the public web directory and replaced on the next successful retrieval. There is no automatic refresh. The loaded image remains visible on the 3D screen until you leave or reload the page; closing the control window does not remove it. The purpose is to provide a city view at your request; Article 6(1)(f) GDPR applies to provision of the service and server logging. Radio Bochum and CT das radio can also be played directly in the City. The respective audio stream is loaded only after you select “Switch on”. Radio Bochum connects your browser to stream.lokalradio.nrw and its Streamonkey delivery service (subdomains of streamonkey.net); CT das radio connects it to live.ctdasradio.de. The providers receive your IP address and the browser and connection data technically necessary for this. The referring page is not sent. Activation takes place at your express request (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR); consent is not stored in your browser. The radio continues playing after you close the control window. You end the stream and connection by selecting “Radio off” or leaving the page; the audio player also provides pause and volume controls. Further processing by the stations is governed by their privacy information at radiobochum.de and ctdasradio.de respectively. No radio server is contacted unless you switch the radio on.

JANO Social Manager under tools.jano3dstudio.de/jano-social-manager/ and TGC Journal under thegravitycomplex.com/blog/ deliver their own images and text and use the minimal site and click statistics described here. Language selection applies to the open page only and is not stored. The product page offers app and media kit downloads; it does not connect to the locally stored post data of the installed app.

Bochum City also offers place cards with upcoming events. Your browser requests the event service on our server only when you select a corresponding place or choose “Refresh events”. The server reads fixed public calendars from VfL Bochum (cms.vfl-bochum.de), Planetarium Bochum (planetarium-bochum.de), Bochumer Symphoniker (www.bochumer-symphoniker.de), Christuskirche Bochum (christuskirche-bochum.de) and Jahrhunderthalle Bochum (www.jahrhunderthalle-bochum.de). Your IP address, cookies, location and other browser information are not forwarded to these sources. Titles, start times and source links are reused outside the public web directory for 15 minutes and replaced on the next successful retrieval. There is no automatic reloading or sign-in. Your browser holds retrieved data only in the memory of the open page. Other performance, museum and visitor calendars are external links. The purpose is to provide city information on request; Article 6(1)(f) GDPR applies to server-side provision and logging. The clickable buses and the traffic pulse also use a fixed server-side request: public VRR-EFA departures for Bochum Hbf/Boulevard and Bochum Hbf are loaded only after selecting a bus or opening the pulse and reused for 30 seconds outside the web directory. Here too, no visitor information is forwarded to openservice-test.vrr.de. The pulse shows the next available bus, tram and underground departure and recognisable forecasts, cancellations or deviations only in the retrieved Hbf excerpt. There is no automatic reloading, location request or vehicle tracking. The miniature vehicles are animated and do not show actual GPS positions.

Hosting and technical access data

The websites are hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, owner René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. When a page is accessed, data transmitted to the server includes, in particular, the IP address, time, requested file, request status and information about the browser and operating system. Depending on your browser settings, the previously visited page may also be transmitted.

This processing is necessary to deliver the websites, ensure reliable operation, analyse errors and prevent attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is a secure, functional website. The hosting provider receives the technical data required for these purposes. Log data is kept only for as long as needed for these purposes; in the event of specific security incidents, retention depends on the investigation required and, where applicable, the enforcement of legal claims.

Further information about the provider: Privacy information at ALL-INKL.COM.

Minimal site and click statistics without visitor profiles

On the websites described here, we count requests for published HTML pages and clicks on predefined public link destinations. The purpose is to understand which content and services are used. Only the calendar date (Europe/Berlin time zone), a fixed public page path, a fixed destination identifier for link clicks, and the aggregated count are stored. The destination identifier represents a link published by us, for example to Steam, a newsletter, a product page or a download file. Multiple buttons leading to the same destination on the same page are counted together.

Page requests are counted on the server. For link clicks, the website loads a small script from its own webspace. After a known link is clicked, it sends only the fixed page path and destination identifier to the same website. The original link destination is retained; there is no counting redirect. The script sets no cookies and uses neither Local Storage nor Session Storage. It does not read form fields or personal content, and it does not transmit browser identifiers, referring pages, URL parameters or user IDs as statistics data. No sessions, individual histories, cross-device profiles or unique visitor counts are created.

Simple section anchors, legal links and form buttons are not counted. Clicking download, newsletter or Steam links does not demonstrate a completed transfer, registration, order or wishlist addition. Repeat requests and automated requests may be included; blocked scripts or transmission errors may result in missing clicks.

Daily totals are held by our hosting provider ALL-INKL. Reports are accessible only in the protected internal area. Technical access data arises during hosting when pages are requested and click notifications are sent, independently of the stored totals; see above. The statistics store neither IP addresses nor timestamps of individual actions. To the extent that personal data is briefly processed in connection with counting, we rely on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our interest in a strictly limited analysis of our own content without profiling.

Reports cover no more than the last 90 calendar days. Older daily totals are automatically deleted on the next counted request or click, or the next time the report is opened; if none of these accesses occurs, cleanup may take place later. The browser signals Do Not Track (DNT: 1) and Global Privacy Control (Sec-GPC: 1) suppress counting; the click script also respects these signals where the browser makes them available to it. Requests with the review parameter and recognised preloading requests are excluded. The statistics do not allow individual actions to be attributed to a person after the fact.

Language, appearance and motion

On the websites, settings you deliberately select, such as language, colour scheme or pausing motion, may be retained in local browser storage. The specific options available differ between pages. They serve your chosen display preferences, are not read for site statistics and are not transmitted to us as a user profile. The settings remain until you reset them or delete the website's data in your browser. Where this involves storing information on, or accessing stored information on, your device, it serves the function you expressly selected (Section 25(2), no. 2 TDDDG).

Contact and project enquiries

When you contact us by email or phone, we process your contact details and the information you provide in order to answer your enquiry. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to enquiries relating to an assignment; for other enquiries, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR applies, based on our legitimate interest in handling your enquiry. Providing the information is voluntary, but it may be necessary for us to respond.

The enquiry form on the Studio website prepares the text locally in your browser for your email application. It does not automatically send your entries to us. We receive the content only when you send the email. A copy function writes the displayed text to the clipboard following your action; it does not read other clipboard contents.

Enquiry data is deleted once the matter has been resolved and further retention is no longer necessary. Statutory retention obligations apply to documents relevant to contracts or taxation; to this extent, processing is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. The email service providers involved may be recipients in email communications.

Personal website

The personal website itself does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Images, fonts and scripts are loaded from its own webspace. Project and social media references are ordinary links. External video, map or social media content is not embedded automatically.

Protected design feedback mode

After signing in, Jona can rate sections of the personal website, the Studio website including its variants, and the tool product pages using five stars. Clicking a star transmits the rating over HTTPS to our own feedback server at ALL-INKL under jonaschlegelmilch.de/feedback/. An optional note is transmitted only when “Save note” is selected. Stored data comprises the stars, note, fixed section ID, title, website/page, version, page URL, time of change and revision state. This internal area is used for joint design selection and prioritisation.

The database is not publicly accessible. Jona has access through sign-in, and the local assistant he has commissioned has separate read access. During a commissioned analysis, retrieved content may be processed in the assistance service used. There is no automatic background analysis and no transmission to advertising or analytics services.

Central sign-in uses the functional cookie jano_feedback (Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax). Sessions and website connections are valid for a maximum of eight hours. A deliberately connected website receives access limited to this use through the sign-in window; it is held under jano.feedback.session.v1 in the browser tab's Session Storage. The connection does not require third-party cookies. Passwords and keys for browser sign-in are stored on the server only as verification values. To protect against sign-in attempts, a hashed IP address with a failed-attempt counter is retained for up to 15 minutes. General hosting logs are described above.

Ratings remain stored until deleted. Individual ratings can be deleted next to the stars or in the central overview. “Sign out everywhere” in the feedback area ends existing browser sign-ins and website connections; ratings remain stored. The local launch option and the separate read access in Jona's Windows Credential Manager are unaffected.

Existing ratings under jona.style.ratings.v1 initially remain unchanged in the respective domain's Local Storage. They are transmitted only after confirmation using “Import browser ratings”. Existing central ratings are not overwritten. The local backup remains and can be removed using “Delete local backup” or by deleting the website data. Deleting local browser data does not delete centrally stored ratings.

Functional storage and sign-in serve the internal feedback function expressly used (Section 25(2), no. 2 TDDDG; where personal data is involved, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). No analytics or advertising cookies are used for this purpose.

Medien – gemeinsam digital: guidance and self-check

The topic-specific page boundlesspixelcraft.com/mediennutzung/ offers age recommendations, everyday guidance, a collection of links and an optional privacy self-check. There is no registration and no entry of names or contact details.

Answers to the 14 questions are processed solely within the open page to display the selected assessment. The page sends neither answers nor results to us or to other providers. It sets no cookies for this and stores answers in neither Local Storage nor Session Storage. “Reset” removes your selection; reloading starts the check again. Age selection and colour scheme are not stored permanently either.

“Save result as text” creates the file locally in your browser. “Print / save as PDF” opens your browser's print dialog. Files and printouts you save yourself contain your answers, remain under your control and are not deleted when you reset the form.

The page loads its files from its own webspace. Access generates the technical access data described in the Hosting section; this is separate from the answers that are not transmitted. The site's own page and click statistics described above are currently not integrated into the media page. No external fonts, videos or analytics services are loaded automatically. Specialist information and advice services are accessed only when an external link is selected; the respective provider's information applies there.

Studio website and external videos

The Studio website uses no external analytics or advertising scripts. Its own limited site and click statistics are described above. Fonts, images, scripts and animations are loaded from its own webspace. The displayed variants may remember display settings you select, such as light/dark mode, colours and motion, in your browser's Local Storage. These settings are not transmitted to us. They serve your chosen display preferences and remain stored in your browser until you reset or delete the website data.

Project videos open on YouTube through explicitly labelled links. No YouTube player is loaded on our pages for this purpose. The third-party website is accessed only when you click. There, the respective provider may process data such as your IP address and, where applicable, account information; its privacy information applies. The same applies to other external links, such as LinkedIn and project websites.

The protected feedback mode is covered by the information on design and section ratings, including central storage and deletion.

The area jano3dstudio.de/newsfeed/ displays automatically collected news titles, dates, source links and short summaries identified as source excerpts from public RSS feeds and release directories. The Studio server retrieves these public sources; no browser data is sent to the sources when you visit. Images and source logos are provided by our own server and are identifiable as sources on the respective card. Original articles open only after a click.

All visitors can rate posts with 1 to 5 stars without an account. The function sets a random browser cookie only when a rating is made, and the server stores only its hash together with the post, number of stars, time and topic/source identifier. The identifier contains no name or email address, expires after no more than 180 days and allows a rating to be changed or deleted. Hashed IP identifiers limit abuse for a maximum of one hour. The average and vote count are publicly visible; clicking the same star again removes your rating.

Tools: product pages and data stored on your device

The product pages use no external analytics or advertising scripts. Their own limited site and click statistics are described above. Your selected language and appearance may be stored locally in your browser. The browser prototypes offered here have no account sign-in and do not synchronise their content with our servers or a desktop app.

DAYRIVO in the browser

The planning data, appointments, tasks, notes and settings you enter are stored in this browser profile's Local Storage. This may include local backups for recovery and undo operations. If you expressly select a folder connection, the browser app may store the associated access entry in IndexedDB; file operations depend on the browser permission you grant. This browser version has no connection to the local Clockodo backend. Files you export yourself remain under your control; downloading does not transmit this content to us.

Second Brain browser preview

Setup information, entered names, roles, goals and draft requests, as well as display options, remain in your browser profile's Local Storage. The chat is a drafting function: it does not send requests to ChatGPT or other AI services. A ZIP file is generated from your entries in your browser. The preview does not gain access to Jona's vault or your local file system.

Storage and deletion

Functional storage takes place for the storage, planning and settings functions you expressly use, in accordance with Section 25(2), no. 2 TDDDG. To the extent that personal data is processed, this serves to provide the requested function under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Content remains stored until you delete it within the application or through your browser's website data controls. A dedicated deletion tool for individual browser tools is available under Manage local data. Completely deleting website data for tools.jano3dstudio.de also removes local backups and settings for the tools hosted there. Exported files are not deleted. Other people with access to the same browser profile can access locally stored content.

Processing after downloading and installing a desktop application must be assessed separately for the application concerned. In particular, the product page does not imply any assurance regarding external services used by an installed app.

The protected feedback mode is covered by the information on design and section ratings, including central storage and deletion.

MINTERRA browser game

The prototype at jonaschlegelmilch.de/minterra/play/ calculates fictional residents and game actions on your device. Your game state is stored under minterra.save.v1 in this browser profile's Local Storage only when you select “Save”. Game states are not transmitted to us. In the saved-game menu, you can load or delete the browser copy and export or import a JSON file locally. The saved data remains until deleted; exported files remain under your control. There is no game account and no cloud synchronisation. The general information on hosting and server-side site statistics also applies to this page.

MINTERRA at 81fragments.com/minterra/: Puzzle progress is stored locally in your browser only after you select “Remember progress” (minterra.puzzle.v3). Export and deletion are available in the garden journal. When the domain changes, puzzle progress previously stored on jonaschlegelmilch.de can be transferred at your own request by clicking “Take your saved game with you”. Only the puzzle progress and game language are transferred via a URL fragment directly to the new page's browser; the fragment is immediately removed from the address there and is not sent to the web server. A valid saved game already present there is replaced only after confirmation. The old saved game is retained. There is no game account and no transmission of game moves to a game server. Hosting and minimal site/click statistics are described above.

THE GRAVITY COMPLEX: game website, playtest and newsletter

The new game website, Socials, Press Kit and shop preview load their images, fonts and scripts from their own webspace. Steam, YouTube, Discord, itch.io and the press materials in Google Drive are external links; their providers receive data only when you open the respective destination. The new shop entry is a Coming Later preview without ordering or payment. Older demo pages may hold a product selection solely in local browser storage; this is not transmitted to an order server and can be deleted through the browser's website data controls.

Newsletter registration and playtest request

The forms on the game website and the playtest page, including the preview on jonaschlegelmilch.de, send your email address, selected language and newsletter consent or optional newsletter selection to the registration service Brevo only after submission. During this connection, Brevo also receives the technical access data required for transmission, in particular the IP address. Without submission, the new page does not transmit your form entries to Brevo. A link to the original form, by contrast, opens a page provided directly by Brevo.

A playtest request serves to process your interest and potentially invite you to test waves. Newsletter registration is for development news and requires your express consent. For a playtest request, additional newsletter registration is optional and not preselected. The legal basis for this voluntarily requested information is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, using the unsubscribe link for the newsletter or by contacting us. The lawfulness of previous processing is unaffected. A request does not guarantee access to the game.

Brevo processes registration data as our commissioned email and form service. The data is required for the requested communication until the registration ends or its purpose no longer applies. Necessary evidence of consent and suppression records to respect an unsubscribe request may be retained beyond this for their respective evidentiary and protective purposes. Further information on Brevo, recipients and possible international processing: Brevo's privacy information. These website notices do not exhaustively describe data processing during subsequent use of Steam, itch.io or the game itself.

Boundless Pixel Craft: AI, media use and browser experiments

Boundless Pixel Craft explains AI and media use. Fonts, branding, explanatory texts, the self-check catalogue and source identifiers are loaded from its own webspace. There are no embedded videos, advertising trackers or external analytics scripts. Specialist information and advice services open only following a deliberate click.

The /mediennutzung/ area offers age recommendations, everyday guidance, a collection of links and an optional privacy self-check. Answers and results for the 14 questions are processed solely within the open page. They are not transmitted to us or other providers and are not stored in cookies, Local Storage or Session Storage. “Reset” removes your selection; reloading starts the check again.

The interactive illusion collection KIPPFELD at /illusionen/ processes selections, slider values and view changes only within the open page. It requires no login, cookies or browser storage and does not transmit these inputs to us. Its files are loaded from our own webspace. External reference sources open only after a deliberate click. Technical hosting access and our own minimal page and click statistics are described in the general sections.

The browser game Gravity · Spatial Experiment at /gravity/ processes portal choices, the player position and room rotation only within the open page. It requires no login, cookies or browser storage and does not send gameplay moves to us. Its files are loaded from our own webspace. The general sections describe technical hosting access and our minimal page and click statistics.

The former Boundless feed address now provides only the public JSON output of the Studio newsfeed so that the existing daily hosting job can update the relocated feed. It does not process user accounts, newsletter addresses or personal browser data.

Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future; the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal is unaffected.

For this purpose, contact contact@jano3.de. You can manage and delete data that is stored exclusively in your browser and is not held by us directly in your browser.

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in your place of residence, place of work or the location of a suspected infringement. In North Rhine-Westphalia this is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia.

The websites described here do not carry out automated decision-making, including profiling, that produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects individuals.

Terms / Use

Shared terms for websites and our own free tools · Version of 19 September 2026

Private and professional use is welcome. When redistributing the software, retain the origin and licence notices. Using a tool alone does not require you to credit us on your own work results.

1. Provider and scope

The provider is Jona Fynn Schlegelmilch, JANO 3D STUDIO. The address and contact details are given in the legal notice. These shared terms of use describe the use of our websites and our own tools and browser demos expressly offered free of charge on jonaschlegelmilch.de, jano3dstudio.de, 81fragments.com and tools.jano3dstudio.de. Special product terms or software licences are linked with the respective service or included in its package. Individual client assignments, paid products, subscriptions and THE GRAVITY COMPLEX are not automatically covered by this free-tool licence; the respective agreed terms apply to them.

2. Private and professional use

To the extent that we hold the necessary rights and no special product licence applies, we permit private and professional use, including commercial use, of our own tools expressly offered free of charge. You receive a non-exclusive right of use for this purpose. You may use the tools as intended, install them on devices you own or are entitled to use, and make necessary backup copies. Professional use does not make the tool subject to a charge.

3. Redistribution and attribution

You may redistribute the unchanged official package of such a free tool free of charge. Existing copyright, origin and licence notices and the associated terms must be retained. The origin must be identified as “JANO 3D STUDIO · Jona Fynn Schlegelmilch”; when making the package available online, link to the official product page wherever technically possible. A separate product licence may grant broader rights. This general permission alone does not authorise selling the program package or distributing modified versions; an appropriate separate licence or permission is required for that. Statutory permissions remain unaffected. You may of course link to the official download page.

4. Your content and results

Using a tool does not grant us rights to your inputs or your own work results. You may use your own results created with the tool privately and professionally. Merely using one of our tools does not require you to credit us on client images, documents or other results. Any third-party rights in content you use must still be respected. Supplied templates, images, fonts or other assets are subject to their respective stated rights; the tool licence is not a blanket permission to use third-party content.

5. Source code, open source and third-party programs

Published source code is governed by the licence contained in the respective repository or package. Mere access to source code does not replace a licence. Rights already granted, in particular under open-source licences, are not restricted by these shared terms. For example, the source code of our Cinema 4D R21 Bridge is licensed under the MIT licence, which permits modification and commercial redistribution under its own terms. The copyright and licence notices required by that licence must be retained. Supplied runtime environments and libraries may have their own licences. Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine and other third-party programs are not licensed under our terms. Mandatory statutory permissions remain unaffected.

6. Website content and trademarks

You may view our websites and use the functions they offer. This tool licence does not generally permit you to publish or exploit protected portfolio images, films, texts, logos or client materials elsewhere. Appropriate permission from the rights holders is required unless a statutory permission or a special licence applies. Attribution alone does not replace this permission. Origin must not be presented misleadingly; in particular, a third-party publication must not be presented as an official JANO service or as a confirmed collaboration.

7. Functionality and support

Please note the functionality and development status stated for the respective version. Services described as demos or prototypes may be incomplete. Individual support or a particular future feature set is owed only if agreed or required by law. Specific commitments and statutory obligations remain unaffected. Information about storage, export and deletion is provided with the browser tools and in the privacy information. Backing up important data before changes or imports is recommended; this does not restrict your statutory rights.

8. Liability and statutory rights

Statutory liability provisions apply. These shared terms do not contain a blanket exclusion of liability. Mandatory consumer rights and other mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

9. Special agreements and versions

Individually negotiated agreements take precedence. Special product terms are made available with the respective service before use or download and supplement this basis insofar as they are validly agreed. Separate software licences continue to apply unchanged to the components they cover. New versions of these shared terms are identified by a version date; they do not automatically change previously granted rights of use retroactively. Publication or a footer link alone does not replace any necessary incorporation into a contract.

10. Contact and privacy

You can send questions about licences, credits or additional permissions to contact@jano3.de. Privacy information is provided separately from these terms of use. Using a tool or agreeing to contractual terms does not constitute consent to advertising or tracking.

Our own newsletter platform: registration, delivery and unsubscribing

At jonaschlegelmilch.de/newsletter we operate a shared platform for our own newsletters, in particular JANO Tools, THE GRAVITY COMPLEX and Boundless Pixel Craft. Registration applies only to the selected list. We do not carry consent over to other newsletters. Existing Brevo registrations are not migrated automatically.

For registration, we store the email address, selected list, source, displayed consent wording and the times of the request, confirmation and unsubscription. A subscription becomes active only after the confirmation link is clicked (double opt-in). The email address and content are processed for delivery through our ALL-INKL mailbox; the database and service are operated at ALL-INKL in Germany. Consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR is the basis for receiving the newsletter. It can be withdrawn at any time using the unsubscribe link in each issue or by contacting us. The lawfulness of previous processing is unaffected.

The platform tracks neither opens nor link clicks in newsletters. We store the technical delivery status for reliable operation and troubleshooting, not as evidence that a message has been read. To prevent abuse, time-limited identifiers derived using a secret key are processed for registration and sign-in attempts. IP addresses are not stored in plain text for this purpose in our newsletter database. Separate technical hosting logs may arise; see the Hosting section. Security, abuse prevention and limited suppression records for unsubscribed contacts are based on our legitimate interest in secure operation and respecting withdrawals of consent, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The registration forms and protected administration area use a necessary session cookie on the /newsletter/ path, including to protect against forged form requests. It is not used for advertising or recognition across other websites. Administration sessions expire after two hours. Access to device storage is for the expressly requested function under Section 25(2), no. 2 TDDDG.

Unconfirmed or merely imported contacts are deleted after 30 days at the next maintenance run. Active subscription records and evidence of consent remain stored during the subscription. After unsubscription, we retain limited subscription and evidentiary data for no more than three years to respect the unsubscription and defend against possible claims, after which it is deleted at the next maintenance run unless a separate statutory obligation or a specific legal dispute requires different treatment. Expired abuse-prevention identifiers are deleted at the next maintenance run (windows of one hour or one day, depending on the action). Completed technical delivery records are deleted after 90 days; queued message content is removed after successful SMTP acceptance. Where delivery is uncertain, encrypted queue content is retained for a maximum of 30 days. If no maintenance run takes place, cleanup may occur later.

This service of our own does not pass data to Brevo. Other forms that have not yet been migrated may still use the separately described Brevo procedures. The general information on the controller, data subject rights and complaint options also applies here.
